The Essence
The way you care for yourself tells a story.
What if the everyday things you do to care for yourself became a way to reconnect with who you are?
The Ritual of Care is a six-day retreat exploring the relationship between hair, identity, heritage, embodiment, and the rituals that shape our lives.
Created by Loc Artistry and Vivid Visionaries, this experience brings together hands-on loc maintenance education, ceremony, cultural connection, and intentional self-care in the lush surroundings of Mexico.
Together, we'll create space to slow down, learn something new, release what we no longer need to carry, and reconnect with the ways we want to care for ourselves.
From tending to your locs to participating in a traditional temazcal ceremony, from gathering in ceremony with Tasha Mae to sharing meaningful moments with a like-minded community, each experience invites us to become more intentional about how we live, grow, and connect.
This is more than a retreat. It's an invitation to make care part of your everyday life.
